And that doesn’t include other drugs, like pot and meth,  just prescription drugs. Drug addiction and alcoholism are brain diseases, by definition. So what is the disease behind it.I am not sure. I do have some ideas, such as our obsession with materialism. This much I do know, unless we find some better way to curb this epidemic, we, as a nation, are in big trouble.
